Dr. Ruth M. Shifman

Dr. Shifman was raised in Ventura County and graduated from Thousand Oaks High School. She graduated UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. In 2002, Dr. Shifman earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific, San Francisco. Upon graduation she worked as an associate in Camarillo, and was on staff at Long Beach Memorial Hospital - Children's Dental Health Clinic.

She is committed to comfortable, pain free, and relaxed dentistry. That is why she has become certified in pediatric and adult oral sedation. She believes negative dental experiences should be a thing of the past. 

Dr. Shifman currently lives in Ventura County with her husband, 2 small children, and dog.
