Dr. Gary Cooper, DDS

Dr. Cooper graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Science and a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the School of Dentistry, University of the Pacific. He completed a Residency in Anesthesiology from UCLA School of Medicine Campus at Harbor General Hospital, Torrance, CA. Following a one-year associateship in Santa Paula and Oxnard, Dr. Cooper opened a general dentistry practice in Ventura in which he treated the dentally fearful and mentally / physically challenged patients.

In addition to his additional training in Anesthesiology, Dr. Cooper has completed additional coursework in dental implantology and functional/straight-wire orthodontics.

Dr. Cooper was the staff general dentist for the Ventura County Medical Center, Community Memorial Hospital of San Buenaventura, and the Venturan Convalescent Center until 1998. Dr. Cooper currently teaches Advanced Cardiac Life Support for the American Heart Association. Dr. Cooper is a Diplomate of the American Dental Society of anesthesiology and the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists, along with maintaining membership in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Living in Ventura County for the past 27 years, Dr. Cooper has two adult children. He currently lives with his wife and their dog in Ventura.
